Announcing a new bulletin resource
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 30, 2008—Resource Publications announces that Liturgical Bits & Bytes, which first appeared in the free newsletter Ministry Resource Update, are now available by online subscription.
Anyone who signed up for the newsletter after its beginning will have the opportunity to access the online archive of all the Liturgical Bits & Bytes for an annual fee. Permission to reprint these brief bulletin inserts is included.
The inserts are intended for catechesis of the parish community on the parts of the liturgy. It begins with preparation before leaving home and proceeds with each element of the liturgy. The goal is to increase understanding, and hopefully also participation, "bit by bit" each week.
There are two indices to the individual articles. One is chronological by the order of the Mass as the articles were written. The other is by topic for those who wish to address particular issues.
Caroline Thomas has a master's degree in pastoral liturgy from Santa Clara University. She has worked in parishes as a liturgist for over 14 years and continues to be excited by the transformative potential of the liturgy.
