New Book Makes Advent a "Family Advent-ure"
SAN JOSE, Calif., October 6, 2009—Resource Publications announces the publication of Family Advent-ures. If you are looking for ways the families in your parish can prepare for Christmas while celebrating Advent, this is the answer. Family Advent-ures brings the family together around the daily readings and gives them discussion questions and activities. Some of the activities will contribute to their regular Christmas preparation, but always with a Christian perspective.

She is the author of Catechizing for Justice: A Six-Session Program to Promote the Gospel Mission and an editor of Forming Ministers for Whole-Community Faith Formation, selected by the Library of Congress for its social significance. Janet has written numerous articles for publications such as Ministry & Liturgy, Catechist Connection, and Eucharistic Minister. Faith formation in the home is a top priority for her. Having raised four children, she now helps with ten grandchildren. |
